Building up and maintaining your immunity is so important as the seasons change. From Autumn to Winter, and Winter to Spring the changing weather puts stress on the immune system.

Here’s our immune boosting tips to help you fight off illness:

  • Eat warm foods like roasted vegetables and try to avoid cold and processed foods
  • Have hearty meals like slow cooked casseroles – prepare them on Sunday and have for weeknight dinners with a side of greens

  • Layer clothing on your upper body. Multiple layers work better than a single thicker layer
  • Keep your neck and chest covered with a scarf, even a thin scarf when inside
  • Don’t leave the house with wet hair – this may seem like common sense but it’s surprising how easy it is to do when running short on time
  • If you’re exercising outside in winter, try to avoid the early morning and after dark when the air is at it’s coldest
